However as a victim of child abuse, a teenager suffering from depression and recovering from a suicide attempt, and the older sister of a sexual abuse victim, I know that it would be far too emotionally exhausting for me to ever try to see it live, let alone try to perform in it. That kills me. Worse, I feel like I’ll get judged by fans who don’t know my past.”

To the person who submitted this, do not worry about what fandom thinks about you. Look after yourself first. I’m sure most people will understand - I actually bet a lot of people who like SA like it because they relate to some character or because someone’s situation hits a little too close to home. Maybe one day you’ll be ready to see in it (or act in it), but until then, make sure to take care of yourself <3
